Assembler II - 2nd Shift (Part-Time)

Description

The Assembler II primarily assists welders in the Cable Tray department, assembling and stacking/banding cable tray ladders and handling materials up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include simple repetitive assembly using bolts, screws, hand tools, and clips; working from models, samples, or diagrams; and supporting facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives such as maintaining 5S, tracking visual management tools, and participating in Kaizen events.

• Must wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Requirements

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility, unless they are active‑duty military members who are exempt. No relocation assistance is provided, and the company will not sponsor immigration or visa requirements for this position.

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Must be able to handle materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to regularly lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation; occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
• Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
• Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
• Requires fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.

The role works up to 20 hours per week from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with scheduling flexibility and occasional mandatory overtime.
