In this role you will manage the technical aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality, and timeframe objectives while exceeding client expectations. You will collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated solutions, develop technical proposals, and present technical solutions to clients.
As a Senior Engineer you will lead reviews of mechanical engineering deliverables and manage project teams of up to five people, allocating work, fully utilizing resources, and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage technical aspects of small projects or project components, meeting financial, quality, and timeline targets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to integrate solutions and develop technical proposals.
- Present technical solutions to clients and lead mechanical engineering deliverable reviews.
- Supervise project teams of up to five engineers, allocating work and resolving issues.

We are seeking a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with consultancy experience to join our Places Design Practice, delivering elegant and efficient mechanical design solutions on exciting and challenging projects for key clients.
You share our passion for improving quality of life and understand the importance of teamwork. Required qualifications include a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering, Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, consultancy experience, and the ability to provide electrical building services expertise.
- Hold a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- Possess consultancy experience and capability to provide electrical building services expertise.
