Architectural Project Designer

• Partner with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Contribute significantly to projects across concept development, schematic refinement, detailed design, construction documentation, and site administration.
• Facilitate client interactions to deliver project goals and maintain positive engagement.
• Offer technical and creative input, focusing on project coordination, production, and effective delivery
• Foster seamless collaboration with internal and external teams, professional consultants, and strategic partners.
• Work closely with your team and across the firm to promote an interdisciplinary design approach, upholding CJ+C’s commitment to design excellence and technical innovation.
• Support and guide junior designers, contributing to multiple projects with high-quality outcomes while working with technical staff.
• Assist in creating persuasive proposals and interview materials to pursue new project opportunities

With 5-10 years of experience, you’re a skilled contributor to design-focused initiatives, specializing in user-centric solutions and supporting clients in achieving their goals. Your dedication to teamwork, mentoring junior talent, and enhancing design quality positions CJ+C as the ideal setting to elevate your career within a vibrant, rewarding, and passionately curious culture.

• 5+ years of relevant architecture and design experience, with a strong background in diverse project typologies and scales.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications.
• Exceptional graphics and visualization skills to effectively convey design ideas.
• Skilled in addressing client needs, budget constraints, architectural opportunities, or challenges impacting design concepts.
• Actively working towards Licensure, Registered Architect, a significant plus
• Strong ability to communicate and present design concepts and their rationales.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university required.
• Strong ability to build collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with key stakeholders.
• Skilled in Revit, + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software and Adobe Creative Suite.
