QAQC Engineer - Electrical

Description

• Study the approved drawings, material/equipment approvals, and technical specifications, standards etc. required for the project and implement the same as applicable.
• Review and edit method statements in consultation with Construction Manager/Site Engineers for various construction activities.
• Ensure the preparation, review, approval and maintenance of all documents / records of quality function in traceable way.
• Establish Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and checklists for various construction activities of project and ensure its implementation.
• Draft and finalize Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) for the assigned project
• Ensure all quality requirements of projects of subcontracted works (document/ approvals/inspections/other).
• Obtain customer approval of various quality documents from internal /customer representative and coordinate & implement the same across the project.
• Raise / ensure work/material/equipment Inspection Requests (IR) as per contract requirements / ITPs on time and on regular basis.
• Coordinate with site team for arranging inspections/ tests and close out of comments
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for any deviations and also follow up for necessary corrective actions to close the NCRs.
• Conduct orientation/ training / quality promotion programs as required on project.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and technical support
