The role functionally directs the Clean Energy Centers (CEC) mechanical and technical training programs across chemistry, engineering, maintenance, and radiation protection disciplines. As the subject‑matter expert, the incumbent leads the development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of discipline‑specific training in alignment with Constellation’s systematic training approach.
Responsibilities include driving CEC and personnel performance improvement through training, developing and delivering performance‑based curricula, and counseling trainees to tailor individualized programs. The incumbent ensures training content reflects the latest INPO reports, NRC bulletins, design changes, regulatory updates, and effectiveness metrics, while also participating in audits and supporting business initiatives, project management, outage activities, and emergency preparedness. Coordination of instructors and guidance on the systematic training process are also key functions, alongside other duties such as emergency response and departmental coverage.
Candidates must have at least three years of nuclear training experience and meet one of the education‑experience combinations: a high school diploma/GED with 7 years nuclear technical background, an associate’s degree with 5 years nuclear experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years nuclear experience. Additional qualifications include meeting ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standards and maintaining required access and medical clearances. Supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
