The Property Accountant will prepare monthly financial statements and reports, balance cash accounts, and reconcile balance‑sheet items while ensuring proper coding of income and expenses. The role also involves supporting cash projections, loan draws, acquisition set‑up, disposition processes, and special projects for the Controller and COO.
HPI is seeking a Property Accountant who will provide key financial information by preparing multiple sets of financial statements and reconciling accounts. This essential role supports the accounting department and works closely with clients and the Property Management Division.
Candidates should have 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real‑estate accounting, with a BBA in Accounting or higher and a CPA license preferred. Proficiency in GAAP, internal controls, and property‑management software such as Yardi, MRI, or Skyline, as well as strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills, is required.
