  • Perform smaller maintenance repairs when feasible.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
  • Stay up to date on relevant codes and regulations related to building maintenance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices, and warranties.
  • Assist with space planning and office reconfigurations as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain a fleet of company vehicles, including scheduling maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with licensing/registration requirements.
  • Conduct and schedule routine inspections of both locations, addressing maintenance issues proactively.
  • Respond to emergency situations, prioritizing safety and continuity of operations.
  • Coordinate and manage repairs with vendors and contractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timeliness.
  • Manage custodial contracts to ensure high-quality cleaning of all office spaces, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Provide essential employee support services, including office supply management, mailroom services, and coffee bar upkeep.
  • Manage HVAC operations through facility management software.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives for building and facilities management.
  • Supervise and mentor a staff member, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

  • Hands-on ability to perform basic maintenance tasks (sink repairs, HVAC cleaning, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of facilities management experience, ideally across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
