Maintain OCU's commercial interests across all activities.
Lead the quantity surveying team in daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
Review NEC3/NEC4 contracts and negotiate provisions with clients.
Ensure contract compliance region‑wide and mitigate commercial risk.
Produce business reporting to support key targets.
Assist regional and central teams with tendering new works.
Raise and submit variation/compensation claims to clients promptly.
Keep client commercial management tools updated and monitored.
Manage payment assessments and ensure prompt cash collection.
Implement robust subcontractor management with strong governance.
Drive cost‑saving initiatives and value engineering.
Promote sound commercial practice across commercial and operational teams.
Maintain fluid communication with key client representatives.
Handle dispute resolution with clients and subcontractors as needed.
Support the Regional Director with monthly reporting.
