Senior Lettings Valuer and Negotiator

Description

• Ensuring all lettings comply with current UK legislation
• Winning new instructions through proactive canvassing and referrals
• Carrying out market appraisals/valuations for residential rental properties
• Maintaining accurate records of valuations and outcomes
• Progressing agreed lets through referencing, compliance and move-in
• Conducting property viewings and following up enquiries
• Providing professional advice on maximising rental yield
• Registering applicants and matching them to suitable properties
• Negotiating rental offers between landlords and tenants
• Converting valuations into signed instructions
• Maintaining regular contact with landlords and tenants
• Advising landlords on achievable rental values and market conditions

Requirements

• Excellent communication and relationship management ability
• Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements (e.g. Right to Rent, deposit protection, EPC, gas and electrical safety)
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Target-driven and commercially aware
• Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
• Proven experience in residential lettings (negotiator or senior level)
• ARLA Propertymark qualification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Experience carrying out lettings valuations and winning instructions
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
