Commercial Construction Electrician

Description

• Install top‑tier electrical systems in new commercial construction and remodel projects
• Lead and work independently on job sites
• Ensure safety and code compliance (OSHA, NEC, etc.)
• Troubleshoot issues to keep projects running smoothly
• Mentor apprentices and guide the next generation of electricians

Requirements

The position calls for a licensed journeyman electrician with commercial experience, a solid understanding of NEC codes, and proven leadership abilities. Candidates must be able to work independently on job sites and mentor apprentices.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics confidently
• Michigan journeyman electrician license
• Minimum 2 years of commercial electrical experience with foreman‑level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Effective leadership and problem‑solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Own basic hand tools
