T ask and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability;
Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties;
Preparing remediation action plans for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater remediation projects including drawings, engineering analyses and calculations, and technical specifications;
At times, the job may also include fieldwork such as site visits and meetings, contractor oversight, and audits associated with site investigation and remediation activities.
Performing and managing contaminated site assessments, remedy evaluation, including preparing investigation work plans, feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remedy design, and remedy implementation;
Management and mentoring of junior staff and managing subcontractors;
Preparing and/or reviewing/managing written document production (including proposals, technical reports, engineering designs and specifications, and/or presentations); and
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and proposals;
Business development including bringing in new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation efforts, and developing and implementing a business development plan for supporting the growth of the Overland Park office;
Performing and managing site assessment fieldwork, pilot and bench-scale programs for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater remediation technologies;

Experience with physical-chemical and biological treatment processes. (required)
At least 8 years (10+ preferred) of relevant prior experience, in environmental consulting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
Demonstrated working knowledge Federal and Regional State (e.g., MO, IL, KS, OK, AR, NE, IA) regulations. (preferred)
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred)
Excellent leadership and detail-orientation skills. (required)
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
Current marketplace visibility and existing client relationships. (preferred)
Current Missouri or Kansas Professional Registration (P.G.). (required)
Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
An outstanding track record for client management, business development, and technical leadership. (required)
Project management, business development training, and leadership training. (preferred)
Valid U.S driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Bachelors degree in geology, geological engineering, civil or environmental engineering with an emphasis in site investigation, remediation design, construction management or a closely related discipline. (required)
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
