Updating applicant information through the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and dispositioning accordingly
Reviewing candidates in JazzHR
Scheduling phone screens with viable candidates for each branch
Reviewing background and motor vehicle reports to ensure hiring criteria of available positions are met
Host new hire orientations twice a week covering the company's policies and procedures as well as safety protocols for all Baker Roofing branch locations
Handling all recruiting initiatives (active and passive) for Baker Roofing branch locations
Inputting branch specific candidate information to run a background and/or motor vehicle report to confirm approval for hire status
Communicating hiring approval back to the Hiring Manager and branch following the pre-employment processes
Posting and maintaining job requisitions every 14 to 21 days (roughly 70 jobs total)
Conducting biweekly calls with General Managers, Department Heads, or other Hiring Managers to assess branch specific needs
Own the full new-hire setup process in ADP, ensuring compliant I-9 completion and that all of the employee's personal information is accurately documented
Developing recruiting plans for geographic regions for Baker Roofing branches; career fairs, university/high school outreach, veteran opportunities
Providing training to new Hiring Managers for the hiring process and standard operating procedures
Submitting tickets for IT items that are needed for branch specific new hires
Reviewing branch specific hiring requests and collecting needed documents from both Hiring Manager and candidate to initiate the background and/or motor vehicle report
Reviewing candidates and deciding on next step in workflow

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education: Minimum High School graduate or GED, bachelor's degree preferred
Language: Fluent in English and Spanish is required
Ability to work in a team setting
Valid Driver’s License: Required
Preferred Recruiting or HR experience (construction recruiting experience a plus)
Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
Active recruiting/sourcing through Indeed, LinkedIn, and in-person events
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, and other office procedures and terminology
Computer: Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus
Able to demonstrate enthusiasm and energy in all interactions, contributing to a dynamic work environment
Able to engage with diverse teams and clients to foster positive relationships and ensure collaborative success
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
