- Assist designers in creating digital and physical finish boards
- Pick up redlines and markups in Revit or AutoCAD
- Support research and specifications for furniture, art, and signage
- Contribute to design research, material selections, and project presentations
- Participate in field work, site visits, and punch lists (occasional overnight travel)
- Observe project meetings to learn workflows, communication styles, and client interactions
- Accompany designers to product rep meetings, showroom visits, and industry events
- Maintain materials library, ordering and organizing samples
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with product representatives
- Learn product lifecycle and industry standards for interior finishes and furniture

The firm is seeking a Summer 2026 Interior Design Intern for its Lexington, KY office. The internship offers hands‑on project experience, exposure to the complete design process from concept to construction, and interaction with product representatives, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Current interior design student (2nd year or above preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate
- Familiarity with Revit (preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Exposure to SketchUp, Lumion, or other 3D visualization tools (preferred)
- Basic understanding of material standards, FF&E, and design documentation (preferred)
- Valued contributors with hands‑on experience on real projects
- Practical exposure to the design process from concept through construction
- Collaborative feedback and meaningful project involvement
