The Role

Overview

Monitor & maintain building water systems, perform legionella checks and related plumbing tasks.

Tasks

-Undertake other water hygiene related tasks as required including Monitoring, Maintenance and Remediation works -Undertake routine monitoring and maintenance of building water systems as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274 -complete TMV Servicing, Inspection & Replacements -Complete inspections using a mobile handheld device and web based electronic log book system -Monitor inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, and logbook updating & auditing -Undertake maintenance tasks may include plumbing repairs, alterations and installation works associated domestic hot & cold water systems

What You Bring

-Current Full UK Driver’s Licence -Previous experience in the maintenance, servicing and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services -Must be able to pass a DBS check -Demonstrate relevant experience in a similar role -Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations) -City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training -Work in a multi-site capacity therefore you must be prepared to travel throughout the region -Clean & Disinfections to Hot & Cold water systems -Demonstrate previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works
