Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Be responsible for the performance of the design team regarding schedule, budget and resources.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of the project’s engineering and design.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.
Manage and oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing engineering projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies and detailed engineering for the disciplines of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Process, Electrical and Instrumentation.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, primarily providing technical expertise as well as guidance and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
Collaborate with the Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
A bachelor’s degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering.
Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment with proven experience in a leadership role. Experience in either Gold, Rare Earths or Nickel is advantageous.
