We are seeking an organised and proactive Stores & Purchasing Co‑ordinator for our Newmarket site. The role sits at the heart of operations, ensuring that materials, tools and equipment are efficiently managed to enable seamless service delivery.
Key duties include receiving and storing deliveries, maintaining stock levels, raising and monitoring purchase orders, and conducting regular stock takes. The position also involves identifying process improvements, collaborating with internal teams to forecast needs, and supporting health and safety compliance and supplier performance reviews.
The ideal candidate has experience in stores, warehousing or purchasing, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency with inventory or procurement systems such as Microsoft D365/AX. A basic understanding of supply‑chain principles, the ability to work autonomously, and physical fitness for manual handling are essential; a forklift licence or logistics training is desirable.
