The Builder III position in the Arizona market leads front‑end construction efforts while overseeing back‑end builders. The role involves daily interaction with customers, trade partners, municipal officials, and Oakwood team members to ensure delivery of high‑quality homes.
The incumbent assumes full responsibility for each job site, guiding production processes and adhering to safety standards to meet schedules. They develop and sustain strong relationships with trade partners, municipal authorities, and internal departments, and they conduct regular safety inspections and customer walkthroughs at key project milestones. Coordination with community, sales, and customer experience teams keeps stakeholders informed and resolves issues promptly. Additionally, they oversee safety and stormwater compliance, maintain a clean site, and support cross‑training initiatives.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience in residential or commercial land development and demonstrate strong organizational and project‑management capabilities. Effective multitasking, attention to detail, and clear verbal and written communication are essential. The role requires the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, provide excellent customer service, and maintain personal accountability. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and the capacity to lift up to 25 pounds are also required.
