As a Buyer you will collaborate with suppliers and technical staff to optimize costs, strengthen supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, all within a creative, collaborative culture that supports professional growth.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with procurement goals.
- Manage procurement activities in the ERP system, including requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, and documentation.
- Coordinate pricing, delivery terms, and order details with vendors per corporate procurement policies.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state, client, and internal requirements, escalating risks as needed.
- Assist with RFQs and vendor quote evaluations.
- Support project planning by coordinating lead times, shipping schedules, and inventory levels with suppliers.
- Mentor and assist technical staff on procurement rules and best practices.
- Purpose‑driven work impacting environmental, health, and safety outcomes.

- 3+ years of experience in end‑to‑end procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, contracts, or related field (or high school diploma/GED plus five years experience).
- Experience with transactional procurement, purchase order issuance, and ERP systems.
- Experience in environmental consulting and construction industries.
- Preferred: Procurement experience focused on Federal Government and Commercial actions.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Government acquisition process, FAR, and subcontract flow‑downs.
