The Senior Architect provides technical leadership across all project phases, guides complex projects to successful delivery, resolves design and regulatory challenges, ensures design excellence and risk management, mentors staff, and collaborates with market and studio leadership on staffing and strategic initiatives.

Lionakis is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join the Education team in Sacramento, where projects span from K‑12 to higher education.
An ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of building systems, codes, and standards, and has experience managing projects of varying size and complexity within the education market. This role is for a stellar individual who wants to change the world one project at a time.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in architecture, at least ten years of architectural experience, U.S. licensure (California preferred), proficiency with BIM/Revit, MS Office, and Bluebeam, and prior education‑project experience. Preferred credentials are LEED accreditation and experience with Sketch‑Up, Rhino, or other 3D programs.
