To carry out servicing and maintenance of portable extinguishers and Ansul fire suppression systems.
To carry out fire extinguisher and Ansul fire suppression system servicing and remedials at various sites such as restaurants and hotels.
To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Providing a good level of customer service and professional manner at all times.
To keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work
Completing paperwork and reports to be sent back in a timely manner.
To ensure compliance with the GFS management system as it applies to this position
To monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance programme) of equipment. Record inspection reports
Arranging your own diary and booking in appointments with clients.
Take part in the on call rota alongside your colleagues.
To ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety
To ensure all planned maintenance is carried out in line with its scheduled date.

Be proactive and capable of anticipating potential faults
UK Driving Licence.
Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices
Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kg
Qualifications to service fire extinguishers and Ansul fire suppression systems in accordance with British Standards.
Van/Uniform/PDA/Fuel card
Strong customer care focus
To have working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures
Full UK driving licence
Demonstrable experience of servicing and maintenance of portable extinguishers and Ansul fire suppression systems
