Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes
Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

Read and interpret client and company supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications
Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
Complete equipment maintenance in line with OCL Group and industry standards, procedures and practices
Ensure FLRA is completed at the beginning of every job and work is completed safely
Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair pressurized piping systems
Read blueprints and specifications
Hydrotest and install fabricated pipe spools within structural steel modular assemblies, adding designed supports as required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Takes pride in safety, document control, lock-up procedures & preventative maintenance
Excellent english communication skills required
Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving of pipes, valves and fittings
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (contains WHMIS 2015)
May need to have certain safety tickets and complete site specific orientations for certain sites
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Versatile and flexible - able to work in the field or on a project as needed
Previous fabrication shop experience is an asset
Previous experience in a shop or industrial fabrication environment
Able to follow directions
May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test when working on certain sites
Good attention to detail
Performs well under pressure and tight deadlines
