Train, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members.
Collect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
Lead and perform on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC).
Prepare high-quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations.
Analyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes.
Plan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation, and safety procedures.
Serve as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings.
Keep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies.
Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership.
Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Ambient monitoring experience is an asset

Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with no supervision
Strong people and team skills as well as being highly motivated
Willingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferably, a minimum of 5-years experience working in the Air Quality field
