As the Service Manager, you will lead the Service team and ensure the property remains in tip‑top condition through a passion for quality physical appearance and proactive maintenance and repairs. You’ll mentor skilled technicians, solve maintenance challenges, and keep operations running smoothly while communicating effectively.
The role involves overseeing daily maintenance operations, collaborating with Property Managers on needs and escalations, and partnering with Regional Service Managers on larger capital projects. You will ensure property preservation across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other systems, and lead the Service team to deliver timely, high‑quality work orders while maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness.
- Oversee property preservation and quality, performing general maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structures, swimming pools, and snow removal
- Collaborate with Property Manager and team to ensure apartments and turns meet Mission Rock standards
- Provide exceptional resident service in every interaction
- Lead by example, driving accountability for timely and quality work order completion
- Partner with Property Manager to support operational goals and meet owner objectives while adhering to standards
- Manage purchase orders for supplies to meet budget goals
- Maintain clean, polished curb appeal and overall property cleanliness from resident and owner perspectives
- Develop and mentor Service Technicians, Groundskeepers, Housekeepers, and other team members
- Plan work schedules, delegate workloads, and monitor workflow

- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite familiarity
