In this position you will act as the Planning Lead or Support Lead on projects spanning multiple sectors, take part in bid preparation and tender submissions, and assume overall responsibility for project management and delivery. You will also provide guidance to junior colleagues and collaborate with environmental, engineering and design teams both in the UK and internationally.
The ideal candidate holds a relevant planning degree and is chartered or working towards chartership. You must be self‑motivated, resilient and capable of managing several assignments under tight deadlines, with a solid understanding of TCPA, DCO, TWAO (or equivalent) and preferably the Environmental Impact Assessment process. Experience in strategic planning, policy development and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The role may require security clearance, with the vetting process managed by UKSV and subject to residency requirements.
