Description

• Lead and mentor the project team, fostering a culture of collaboration.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee the execution of detailed design projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Develop and implement design processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence in engineering deliverables across projects.
• Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of engineering deliverables to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirement and client expectations.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project engineering team, setting clear goals, objectives, and priorities align with project requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to clarify design objectives, allocate resources, and resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure engineering solutions meet project requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in detailed design engineering, with a strong track record of successful project delivery
• Experience with base metals, rare earth minerals and mineral processing in a design and construct environment
• Proven leadership abilities, including managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent project management skills
• Tertiary degree in Engineering or a related field
