- Responsible for checking mat and delivery temperatures, obtaining core samples, verifying layer thickness, and maintaining detailed test records.
- Assist in checking layer thickness, surface levels, and material uniformity
- Perform on-site quality control tests (temperature, density, compaction, moisture content)
- Set up, maintain, and operate field testing equipment and safe operation of tools and test instruments

- Report non-conformities or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Record and report production data and test results
- Collect and label asphalt samples from production plants and our project sites
- Prepare and label samples for laboratory analysis according to standards

- Willingness to work outdoors around live surfacing operations
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and ability to follow procedures
