The Repairs & Compliance Technician executes and verifies all corrective actions from compliance inspections, ensuring repairs meet code and pass re‑inspections on the first attempt. The role is field‑based and requires close coordination with maintenance teams, vendors, and the Compliance Coordinator & Communications Lead, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Review inspection reports, assign and track corrective actions to meet city deadlines.
- Perform repairs per code, ensuring high quality workmanship.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to complete fixes efficiently.
- Conduct site visits, verify repairs, and document completion with photos or reports.
- Prepare properties for re‑inspections and schedule city follow‑ups.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, costs, and status in company systems.
- Report recurring issues or code risks to leadership and help develop preventative maintenance plans.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of property maintenance or facilities operations experience, preferably in multifamily or student housing, and a working knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required. A collaborative, can‑do attitude and a desire to deliver great customer outcomes are essential.
