Maintain accurate records of calibration, inspections and maintenance activities using CMMS and calibration databases.
Ensure all EC&I systems operate safely, accurately and reliably in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
Calibrate, test and verify instrumentation to ensure accuracy and optimal system performance.
Install, commission and maintain instruments measuring pressure, flow, temperature and level.
Support shutdowns, outages and major maintenance projects as required.
Diagnose and rectify faults on electrical and control systems including PLCs, SCADA and DCS.
Perform routine inspections, functional testing and condition monitoring of EC&I systems in line with maintenance schedules.
Install, maintain and repair Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) equipment across power station and industrial plant systems.
Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations and safe systems of work
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on EC&I systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
Complete loop checks, signal testing and commissioning activities on new and modified systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams and control drawings to support fault diagnosis and installation.

Strong understanding of plant safety systems, interlocks and protective instrumentation

Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring schematics and technical drawings
Experience using Beamex calibrators and CMX calibration management software (highly desirable)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
Strong knowledge of EC&I systems within power generation or heavy industrial environments
AM2 / AM2S qualification (preferred)
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation or equivalent discipline (essential)
Inspection & Testing certification (desired but not essential)
Proven experience in maintaining, calibrating and fault-finding on instrumentation and control systems
