  • Perform work inside the wind turbine enclosure at an elevated height of 300 feet.
  • Contribute to the improvement of new and updated field procedures and standard methodologies.

  • Physical requirements include but not limited to: Ladder climbing up to 300 feet, up stair climbing, standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, work above shoulders, pushing, pulling, exposure to vibration, chemicals, confined spaces and extreme weather conditions.
  • Proven ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment. Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations. Must pass a physical test administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Capable of efficiently tackling additional roles and responsibilities at an operating wind farm.
  • Experience interacting with customers at various levels of responsibility within their respective organizations.
  • Hands-on experience working with electrical and mechanical systems including PLC programming and converters.
  • Ability to think clearly and maintain composure during stressful and or hazardous situations is a critical to success in the position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required along with 2 or more years’ experience in a relevant field. A College degree or technical certificate in a field related to the wind turbine industry ie: electrical / mechanical systems is desirable. Various combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Traveling (up to 25%) to our other site within Hawaii is a requirement of the job. Travelling to the mainland US is also required for training on as as-needed basis. Must be eligible to hold a valid Passport and Driver’s License.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and plan daily/weekly work with a high level of quality orientation, ability to analyze and resolve problems independently.
