Working closely with business unit leadership, the director of project technology, and project leaders, the senior AI consultant will shape service offerings, develop go‑to‑market strategies, and drive growth for AI‑related services. The consultant will leverage Barr’s existing AI and data science expertise to create structured, market‑ready solutions.
Required core competencies include 10+ years of consulting experience with a proven track record of expanding services or markets, strategic business acumen, and strong client engagement and sales skills. The candidate must demonstrate leadership and collaboration across cross‑functional teams and possess solid AI/ML literacy. A valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization without sponsorship are also required.
Additional preferred experience includes a graduate degree (MBA or technical), domain expertise in environmental, engineering, or industrial sectors, and prior success in launching or growing a consulting practice. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually, with eligibility for a discretionary cash bonus and classification as an exempt salaried position.
The position offers a hybrid work arrangement that can be split between a Barr office and a home office, with flexibility to be based out of any U.S. anchor office. Travel is expected up to 25% for business development and client visits, varying by location.
