You will improve and extend a multi‑faceted product suite across desktop, web, and AWS cloud‑native environments, facilitating the storage, processing, retrieval, and display of large point‑cloud, imagery, and video datasets. You will engage key technical stakeholders to define architectural standards, maintain high availability of our platform, and provide guidance to ensure long‑term scalability and maintainability.
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with strong architectural experience to join our dynamic team in the West Perth office. The role focuses on building software that supports remote offshore and subsea inspections, contributing to hands‑on development and shaping the technical direction of our Sense Suite platform.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in software architecture, designing complex systems, and selecting appropriate technologies. Required skills include building robust Windows desktop applications (C#, .NET, WPF) and React‑based web applications (TypeScript), familiarity with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions. Strong communication, agile adaptability, and the ability to step into architectural leadership are essential.
Additional expertise that we value includes C++ development, video encoding/decoding, CUDA programming, and high‑fidelity 3D data display for web applications.
To apply, ensure your CV is up‑to‑date and clearly presents relevant information. Candidates must provide evidence of Australian working rights; visa sponsorship is not available. Applications from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
We embrace a modern, collaborative culture where every voice is heard and all cultures are respected. While we support remote work, we value face‑to‑face interactions, whiteboard discussions, and shared meals to foster teamwork and information sharing.
