Call Center Representative

Description

• Deliver scripted pitch to homeowners
• Adjust scripted pitch to meet specific homeowner needs
• Handle homeowners' questions and objections
• Obtain homeowners' information (names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
• Receive appointments over the telephone
• Input appointment details into the computer system
• Record homeowners' information and key conversation details
• Confirm appointments with canvassers or sales representatives
• Issue appointments for reps to meet prospective homeowners
• Perform quality control on phone calls
• Answer calls from potential homeowners responding to advertisements
• Contact homeowners to follow up on initial interaction
• Update lead information and maintain reports

Requirements

General Purpose: Customer service skills are essential. The representative will contact homeowners by telephone, set up qualified appointments for free consultations, input lead information, update reports, and answer phone calls generated from advertisements. Compensation for the position is $17–20 per hour plus commission.

• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
• Relevant experience in telemarketing, sales, marketing, or promotions
• Product knowledge (training provided)
• Proficiency with relevant computer applications
