The Total Rewards Team within PG&E’s People organization designs, administers, communicates, and trains on compensation and benefits programs. The Compensation team consults with business leaders, designs and implements new programs, and administers existing programs such as base salary, short‑term and long‑term incentive plans, recognition, and executive pay.
The Compensation Manager partners directly with business leaders to ensure compensation plans align with strategic, financial, and operational goals, while leading initiatives in rewards, recognition, compliance, and variable‑pay programs. This role offers the chance to shape employee rewards and contribute to business success within a collaborative environment.
The position follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with an average of one day per week on‑site at the Oakland General Office, or as business needs require. PG&E provides a salary range of $144,000 (minimum) to $244,000 (maximum) for the Bay Area, with a midpoint of $194,000, and includes eligibility for discretionary incentive compensation.
