The engineer will drive Power Platform implementations through all project phases—discovery, definition, build, test, and deployment—while identifying client requirements across sales, marketing, and customer service. Responsibilities include delivering solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, and data integrations, providing end‑user training, creating documentation, and automating business processes. The role also entails developing implementation standards, participating in daily Scrum meetings, collaborating with development and QA teams, and serving as a subject‑matter expert for architecture, design, configuration, and security.
Guidehouse is seeking a hands‑on software engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Power Apps and a basic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role involves up to 25% travel and requires no security clearance, but U.S. citizenship is mandatory. The candidate will design, configure, and develop custom solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform while presenting to senior stakeholders.
Candidates must have at least five years of experience developing on the Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to work onsite as needed. Required technical skills include hands‑on SharePoint (both on‑premise and Online), SharePoint Designer workflows, C#, .NET, SQL, Microsoft Dataverse, and Power Automate, as well as experience with SaaS/PaaS environments, relational databases, and writing technical requirements and test scripts. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities are essential, along with the capacity to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Core competencies involve Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS), Power Automate, and knowledge of Power Platform Center of Excellence and governance. Experience in a “Big 4” consulting firm, a Microsoft Gold partner, public‑sector engagements, or Agile/Hybrid‑Agile methodologies is considered a plus. Prior experience in non‑governmental organizations (NGOs) and familiarity with complex data models are also beneficial.
