Accurately maintaining the database of plant at all project sites including head office by recording movements both to and from project sites.
Run reports to monitor PO compliance.
Maintaining the in-house catalogue of available plant and materials.
Supporting the team in all other duties as directed by the Team Supervisor
Responsible for updating and maintaining the database with ‘Off Hired’ dates and references provided by the project sites and suppliers for external plant hire.
Upkeep of ASL - ensure that supplier accreditations and certificates are kept up to date
Delivering on ad-hoc requests, as directed by the Head of Procurement.
Resolving queries with project sites, procurement and accounts payable teams with respect to items which have been billed to sites.
Liaising with project sites to maintain a high level of accuracy of records for all hired plant and equipment both internal and externally provided.
Producing monthly financial records detailing individual supplier spend
Preparing reports as required for Senior Management teams.
Raising or amending orders under direction of the Buyers. Orders will be for both plant and materials with both internal and external providers.

Knowledge and/or experience of working in a construction business environment
Experience of maintaining databases
Work well within a busy team.
Ideally have previous experience of working with purchasing and procurement systems. Any Purchasing qualifications will be an advantage, but they are not essential.
Experience on Coins system
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Have excellent time management skills.
