Description

As Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions, you will partner with leaders across the enterprise to support acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic growth initiatives. The role involves overseeing research, financial analysis, due diligence, deal execution, and post‑closing integration while maintaining relationships with external advisors.

• Research potential targets, competitors, and growth opportunities; gather public information and conduct market research.
• Support and drive the annual Strategy Planning process across business units, segments, and corporate.
• Use financial models and analysis to assess deal viability and create valuation metrics.
• Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, cost reports, and risk assessments.
• Prepare financial models and forecasts.
• Develop or support business plans outlining strategic direction, financial forecasts, and post‑merger synergies.
• Lead due diligence to verify financial, legal, and operational aspects of target companies.
• Perform financial due diligence and valuations to support deal completion.
• Manage deal and due diligence processes; maintain thorough knowledge of the M&A process and strategic project management.
• Ensure legal and financial aspects of deals are in order and execute deals seamlessly.
• Participate in and support negotiations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Prepare transaction‑related presentation materials for management and the board of directors.
• Support deal closing and post‑closing integration planning and execution.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party service providers and investment advisors.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficient financial modeling, analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, and business acumen; capable of presenting results to diverse audiences.
• Strong communication skills; ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to learn new business models or industries.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience within a publicly traded and/or manufacturing company (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management; Master’s degree preferred.
