As an entry‑level electrical drafter you will join a multi‑disciplinary team of designers and engineers to produce design drawings based on project input.
Your duties include creating master sketches to scale that show the relationship of proposed installations to existing facilities and detailing exact specifications and dimensions.
You may accompany experienced designers on walkdowns at client sites to gather information and assist with design development.
When working with vendors and construction contractors you may be asked to explain your drawings so that appropriate design adjustments can be made.
This hybrid role requires you to be in the office three days a week and allows you to work remotely for the remaining two days.
You will apply computer‑aided drafting skills and receive hands‑on training in 3D design software such as AutoCAD 3D and MicroStation, as well as Sargent & Lundy’s proprietary design databases.
