Ensures compliance with all maintenance procedures and instructions including; safety, quality, environmental procedures
Performs routine, preventive and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, adjustments, testing, cleaning and proper maintenance on assigned central Communication equipment in accordance with, schematics, operations manuals and manufacturers maintenance instructions
Perform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system and subsystem to support field technicians in the diagnosis and correction of faults.
Entering information into the MMIS system
Completes assigned operational, equipment failure, safety and other reports as required.
Implements and follows-up on procedures and rules for service, repair and maintenance of the equipment
To oversee the operations and correct functioning of the Communications systems and central equipment to meet the performance requirements in the contract.
Early identification of failure trends that may impact fleet availability
Perform preventative maintenance on the Communication and SCADA equipment
Liaison and supervision of supplier’s staff who perform works
Periodically downloads communication, video and voice log files.
Analyzes log files to troubleshoot any problem or to provide predictive maintenance for the communication system.
Responsible for conducting inspections and acceptance of equipment
Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to meet the availability for service requirements
Ensuring that sufficient materials, hand tools and equipment are on hand for maintenance activities
