Key responsibilities include implementing project controls tools and methodology, developing schedule requirements per client procedures, performing critical path analysis, and providing schedule insights and corrective actions. You will manage schedule contingencies and risks, produce regular updates and look‑ahead reports, support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes, ensure standardized file locations, and assemble documentation for client requests while proactively managing variances. Interaction with project managers and cost analysts, as well as occasional travel to client offices for coordination meetings, are also required.
Essential qualifications comprise proficiency with Primavera P6, practical knowledge of project controls, and at least ten years of project scheduling experience, along with a post‑secondary degree. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a motivated attitude toward learning, and a commitment to high‑quality, detail‑oriented deliverables are expected. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and/or Access for creating detailed, interactive spreadsheets and databases is also required.
Valued but not required experiences include an engineering internship, co‑op, or related work in the power industry involving project controls, planning, scheduling, or earned value performance. Professional designations such as AACE CST or PMI equivalents, progress toward certifications like AACE CCP, CEP, PSP, PRMP, EVP, or completion of equivalent training or proficiency testing are considered advantageous.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days per week in the office and two days remote, providing flexibility while maintaining onsite collaboration. As a Lead Project Scheduler for Capital Projects, you will apply technical expertise to develop and maintain schedules for electric capital infrastructure, interfacing with project management, client management, engineering, construction, and other key stakeholders.

The compensation range for this position is $116,620 to $179,890, with a transparent statement that the total package includes base salary and a comprehensive benefits suite, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
