The Head of Robotics leads the deployment, management, and continuous improvement of robotic systems across Innovo construction projects. The role oversees operational allocation, site support and performance of robotic units executing core trade activities such as rebar fixing, painting, floor tiling, concrete levelling and block laying. This position manages a team of Robotics Engineers and Operators, ensuring seamless integration of robotics into project execution. The role collaborates with construction, engineering, procurement, and technology teams to drive automation efficiency and support Innovo transformation strategy. It is a growth-oriented role shaping the future of robotics adoption across Innovo.
Provide coaching and training on robotics operations, safety, and troubleshooting.
Define team roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Lead rapid response for deployment requests and breakdown recovery. Strategic Planning & Budgeting
Liaise with project managers, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to align robotics
ensure technology suitability and uptime.
Oversee allocation, scheduling, and deployment of robotics across active project sites.
Apply strong construction methodology knowledge to select use cases and sequencing for

Strong vendor management and technology evaluation experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction “robotics” or industrial automation.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Demonstrated success managing operations, teams and budgets.
Technology, or similar is preferred.
Fluent in English; Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred.
In-depth understanding of robotic systems in construction.
Effective communication and cross-site coordination skills.
Excellent strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concurrent deployments.
Experience working with robotic suppliers such as Partner Robotics, Bright Dream, Fangshi
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
