Tasks

-Championing sustainable design strategies that can reduce our environmental impact -Actively contribute to design discussions, critiques, and a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking -Provide inspiring leadership to project teams, mentoring junior staff and advancing our design, technical, and quality standards. -Develop innovative solutions to challenging design and technical issues, championing sustainable strategies to reduce environmental impact -Assisting in developing and managing client relationships -Innovatively design and deliver projects with a deep curiosity to understand all relevant stakeholders (i.e. patrons and transit agencies) and develop creative responses to meet their needs -Leading communications with and reports to Authorities having Jurisdiction -Providing leadership and direction to team members to develop in-house expertise and methodologies (design, technical and quality standards, etc.) to advance the group and the efficiency and effectiveness of our architectural work

What You Bring

-Experience in designing transit facilities and managing transit clients -Registered Architect preferred (or eligible) -Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, and Adobe Suite -Proficiency with analogue (hand) and electronic forms of visual and graphic communication -The ability to contribute to large projects (> $100 million construction value) with minimal supervision, including consultant coordination and client management -Expertise in BIM workflows and Revit, plus strong graphic/visual communication skills (hand + digital) -7+ years architectural design experience -Strong leadership experience in establishing scope, and directing the work of professional architects and technical staff on multiple projects, in a hybrid (in-studio and virtual) work environment -Experience in leading project pursuit efforts (RFQ/RFP responses, fee letters) -LEED AP and/or ENV SP designation -Experience mentoring and coaching junior architectural team members

Our salary range is flexible based on candidate's experience and qualifications $87,000 - $120,000 a year
