Each day, the role involves leading safety and quality initiatives at the site level, developing, reviewing, and managing owner contracts and subcontracts, and managing costs while scheduling labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors. The incumbent maintains constant communication with the owner or client regarding progress and conflict management, and must travel to the job site at least 50% of the time.

The position requires experience managing self-perform construction projects with a minimum budget of $30 million, exceptional customer and client relationship skills, and strong knowledge of schedule and budget creation, control, and monitoring. Candidates must also have contract and subcontract development and management experience and hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor-vehicle driving record.
Financial forecasting experience, including estimates to completion, cash, and cost flow, will set candidates apart, as will a proven record of safety program management and implementation. Knowledge of Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) and the ability to control and implement site-wide quality programs are also valued.
