Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

Description

• Manage weekly accounts payable check run
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
• Review invoices for correct coding and approval routing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Process employee expense reimbursements
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts in the AP system
• Complete W‑9 requests and vendor tax documentation
• Assist with account reconciliations and reporting

Requirements

Mustang Cat is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its Houston accounting team. The ideal candidate is an AP expert with a strong eye for detail and a passion for process accuracy, ready to manage payments and support financial operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High proficiency with Excel
• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
• College coursework in business or accounting (preferred)
• Experience with SAP Concur, AVIDXchange, ApplicationXtender, and Unit4 Financials (preferred)
