JLL provides professional services in real estate and investment management worldwide.
As a Project Lead in Project and Development Services in Kolkata, you will work closely with the project manager and senior project manager to drive project success. You will own planning, documentation, costing and tendering for construction projects while supporting the regional sales strategy and business development activities. You will also manage the organisational structure for each project, ensuring streamlined reporting, communication and clear objectives.
Building strong client relationships is central to the role; you will identify client needs, requirements and constraints while balancing JLL’s business objectives. You will seek opportunities to cross‑sell JLL’s other business lines and ensure project revenue and payment cycles are properly managed to avoid bad debt.
You will manage professional consultants, oversee vendor contract administration, and ensure compliance with legal, health‑safety and sustainability standards. Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation measures will be part of your responsibilities, and you are expected to maintain a sense of urgency in solving problems and implementing new strategies.
Successful candidates engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders, are driven to achieve challenging goals, and bring a structured, organised approach to their work. They thrive under pressure, communicate and collaborate effectively, and demonstrate resilience when handling competing priorities and tight deadlines.
We seek candidates with a degree in a property‑related discipline and at least ten years of experience in planning using MS Project or Primavera, contract and billing, and ERP‑based project management tools. A tech‑savvy mindset and the ability to champion JLL’s digital platforms are essential.
At JLL you will enjoy an entrepreneurial and inclusive environment, a total rewards program, competitive pay and benefits, and opportunities to realise your full potential. We support diversity, equal opportunity and provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities.
