- Input to the development of data analysis work to establish emerging trends in lead indicators as precursor to asset failure. Undertake subsequent analysis work.
- Provide input to the development of the national framework for civil assurance.
- Manage the development of audit plans for key asset management activities within civil engineering.
- Contribute to development of national standards, procedures and training modules.
- Identify non-compliances against civil standards and engage stakeholders in formulating corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Input to investigations into failures that affect the safety and condition of assets.Assist with the management of actions to mitigate the risks of recurrence.
- Provide technical advice on standards and procedures to other members of the Asset Management B&C team
- Provide input to the selection of audit topics and creation of audit rationale.
- Manage the tracking of all route specific safety recommendations arising from internal and external incident investigations.
- Support the monitoring of civil compliance indicators to assess compliance to civil engineering standards and initiate of follow up actions.

- Experience in data management, databases and information management working with large data sets
- Experience with software such as MS Access, Power BI, coding, and cloud based apps such as Salesforce.
- Member of a relevant professional institution
- Good knowledge of technical, safety and condition standards relating to the civil engineering assets
- An understanding of the fundamentals of information architecture and data management strategies and techniques
- Working towards membership of a relevant professional institution
- Experience in preparing reports and data visualisations
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification or experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Degree in a relevant subject
- Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer
