The Senior Architect role is based in Glasgow and will take ownership of multiple projects from concept through delivery while leading a small team of assistants. Responsibilities include providing design and technical leadership, developing pragmatic design responses that respect site constraints, and sustaining client relationships to grow the practice. The position also involves reporting on project activity, analysing feedback and contributing to the development of the studio’s design culture.
The ideal candidate holds a RIBA Part 3 qualification, is ARB‑registered and has strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods. A proven track record across sectors such as education, health, defence, residential or public projects is required, together with experience managing design packages, budgets and multidisciplinary consultants. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Enscape or V‑Ray, and familiarity with NBS specifications are essential, while an accredited conservation background is a plus.
The role may require UK security clearance, which will be discussed during the interview process.
