The role is for an experienced Mobile App Engineer who will develop and optimise the customer‑facing mobile app and web portal within Believ’s in‑house Charge Point Management System. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the engineer will bring the current 70 % production‑ready solution to feature parity with the incumbent SaaS and then create innovative capabilities for Android and iOS users.
- Develop and maintain native iOS and Android applications using Swift and Kotlin.
- Optimize apps for speed, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs built with FastAPI for real‑time data synchronization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align features with CPMS and implement OCPP/OCPI protocols.
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure stability and quality.

The successful candidate will have proven experience launching iOS and Android applications, be comfortable with performance profiling, debugging, and real‑time backend integration. Knowledge of Agile processes, Git version control, and containerised environments such as Docker is required. Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, and Python‑based FastAPI APIs, together with strong problem‑solving and cross‑platform optimisation skills, is expected.
