Conducting surveys and inspections: Using driving data in order to survey indicated areas in order to detect, grade, and log emissions.
Data collection and reporting: Recording findings and creating detailed reports.
Driving and operating advanced mobile leak detection equipment: Typically, a mid-sized SUV equipped with a methane/ethane sensor and other equipment to identify and locate potential natural gas emissions.

High school diploma or GED required; Previous leak survey or natural gas industry experience is preferred.
Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds; Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Applicants must have permanent work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
Candidates are required to have a valid US driver's license and a safe driving record.
Must pass an evaluation to become Operator Qualified. The successful candidate will be trained and given opportunities to pass these tasks and become operator qualified.
Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
