• GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:***The General Services (GS) Field Estimator is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and comprehensive estimating services for patch-and-repair proposals within their assigned region. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales and operations by ensuring estimates are well-developed, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.The Field Estimator conducts assessments of existing building envelope and roofing conditions based on Sales Representative scopes of work, visual inspections, and documented deficiencies. Leveraging these findings, the Estimator develops detailed scopes of work, prepares budgets and estimates, and produces professional proposals for roof repairs, facade repairs, and roof renovations.In addition, the Field Estimator serves as a key liaison to field teams, effectively communicating project scope and expectations to foremen and technicians through both verbal and written means.Other essential responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings, capturing accurate field measurements, and providing thorough photo documentation to support proposals and planning. The role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.***ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:***-

Requirements

• Functional computer skills.
• Knowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining quality control.
• Prior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of Project Management, planning, and scheduling.

• Certification and approval of Field Representatives, including OSHA Hazard Awareness and Toolbox Talks.-
• Proper completion of services and related documentation.
• Prior roofing experience, including patch and repair skills.
• Planning and organizational skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities and demonstrate good task management.
• Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with minimal direction, set priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, and perform under deadlines with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
