Support the team in tracking and adjusting quantities as needed, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring estimates are accurate.
Assist in developing project updates and comparing bid package estimate documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist in organizing and maintaining a file of project documents to back up estimating figures and ensure documentation is complete and accessible
Exercises Accountability in stressful situations (avoids placing blame)
Help research and compile historical cost data, maintaining an up-to-date database for future estimate preparation.
Collaborate with experienced Estimators to analyze project drawings and use relevant software to perform material take-offs, contributing to detailed estimates and providing unit cost pricing.
Working alongside Southland Estimators to assist with preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates, and detailed estimates for smaller, less complex projects within specific trades.
